The Recreated 16th Regiment of Foot

On American Service 1775-1783

The Recreated 16th Regiment of Foot was created as a sub-unit of the RNCR to address the need for Regular British Troops at re-enactments.  After careful research, it was determined that there should be more regiments represented at reenactments with yellow facings.  Thus we created an alter-ego to our Loyalist impression.  This Regiment served in some Southern Campaigns, so it became a our object of research.
